Brigitte Bardot, the iconic French model and actor, filmed The Jewellers of the Moonlight in several locations on the Costa del Sol, including Mijas Pueblo in 1957.
Denise Van Outen, a famous actor and TV presenter from the UK, chose to purchase her holiday property in Mijas Costa, after being a long-time visitor to the area. In Hello Magazine, Denise said that her and her partner regularly travel to Spain to play golf, so Mijas ticked all the boxes.
